Community Health Center of Niagara Falls

Outdoor Signage & Media Buy

The Community Health Center of Niagara (CHCN) is a Federally Qualified Health Center that provides access to quality preventative and primary health care to individuals of all ages regardless of their ability to pay. The client hired Jackson Parker Communications to assist with raising awareness about the new Family Planning Program and increase patients among underserved females in the Niagara Falls, New York community. This demographic has traditionally been difficult to reach. Building upon the original promotional materials developed by Jackson Parker, we developed a bold message and combined it with images of females with hopes of informing and providing a feeling of empowerment.

Outdoor Transit Signage – We negotiated the purchase and placement of Bus tails (signage at the back of the bus), interior signs, and larger bus shelter posters.

Newspaper – The same Ad and message was used in the print and online versions of the local newspaper. A strategic approach was used to make sure the placements would be viewed by the targeted audiences. In addition, an Ad and editorial was placed in the paper’s special Healthy Life Style magazine.

Online/Website – The newspaper reported that the click on rates were very successful from the introduction of the banner ads.

Results: The Client reported that they averaged 20 – 25 new patients each month during the length of the campaign. They have asked if we would expand the campaign and add a large vertical banner designed for the exterior and interior of the medical center.
