The founder and lead principal, vast community leadership experience demonstrates an ability to set a vision, direct and implement successful projects. Projects have included
- The development of “Success Looks Like Me” Role Model Program, a premier program of the Communities of Giving Legacy Initiative that provides low-income youth of color with opportunities to interact with successful adults who reflect the multi-cultural, multi-ethnic richness of Western New York and our nation. Through this program, local and national leaders of color interact with youth through in-person and on-line mentoring opportunities, panel and group discussions, tours of workplaces and college campuses, as well as one-on-one meetings — thus inspiring our youth to believe that they, too, can achieve greatness and recognize that “Success Looks Like Me.”The Success Looks Like Me annual GM STEM trip to General Motors Detroit headquarters has become a distinctive addition to this program
- The creation of the Buffalo Book Fair and speaker series BUFFALO CITY FORUM in collaboration with Leadership Buffalo and WNED 970 AM (an NPR Radio station).
- The Black Capital Network Conference Economic: An Empowerment Conference was developed to highlight the importance of building wealth in the African American community through business development. The annual summit featured local and national presenters that provided information and guidance on how they built their personal and professional wealth.
